Extension for Form PF Compliance

Posted on January 30, 2025January 29, 2025 by Doug Cornelius
Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission extended the compliance date for the February 8, 2024 amendments to Form PF. The compliance date for these amendments was originally March 12, 2025 and has now been extended to June 12, 2025.

For annual filers, that means the new requirements won’t kick in until your 2026 filing. This gives more time to quarterly filers, kicking it out an additional quarter.

One big change will be the forced dis-aggregation of feed funds and master-feeder fund structures in reporting. There are bunch of technical changes that compliance personnel will need to focus on.
