A hilarious view on the MBA Ethics Oath by Jon Stewart and Jon Oliver on The Daily Show. There is a great Scared Straight piece with some MBA Students.

Unfortunately in today’s world there is great lack of respect for one another and any real consideration for ethics in one’s work. As little as 20 years ago, that was a very important part of being a respected employee in the work force. However, today we have too many people who ignore respect, even for themselves, and have too much greed about money and consequently disregard any form of ethics in what they do. It is very sad, but true.

I have been in the business world for more than 50 years, actively employed and still working today. It is most interesting to reflect what has happened over the years particularly with respect, ethics, and completing a project with real goals other than greed. I truly wonder what comes next after Madoff and so many, many, copies of the famed “ponzi” scheme.
